naisu.pro · checked 21 October 2026
The standard
This site is built to WCAG 2.2 at level AAA, the highest level. Where it falls short, this page says so.
What was checked, and how
On 21 October 2026 every page was tested with axe-core 4.10 against WCAG 2.2 levels A, AA and AAA, at desktop and phone widths. No failures were found. The checks a tool cannot make were done by hand:
- Text contrast is at least 7:1 everywhere, including small labels.
- Every button and standalone link is at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Every control has a visible 3-pixel focus outline.
- Every page was walked through with the keyboard alone, using real key presses. Focus follows the reading order, and every stop shows its outline.
- The menus open with Enter or Space. Tab moves into the menu you opened. Escape closes it and returns focus to its button, and a menu closes by itself when focus leaves it.
- Nothing that has focus is hidden under the sticky header or an open menu.
- A skip link leads past the menus to the content.
- Pages reflow at 320 pixels wide, and at 200% zoom, without scrolling sideways.
- Lines of text stay under 80 characters, with paragraph spacing of 1.5 times the line height.
- Hover movement stops when your system asks for reduced motion.
What was not checked
- Reading level (WCAG 3.1.5). Some pages, the legal ones especially, are written above lower-secondary level and have no simpler version yet.
- Testing with screen reader users. The structure has been checked, but not with people who use assistive technology every day.
- The department websites (1752.io, organize.ink, locintel.pro) and shop.naisu.pro are separate sites, each with its own statement.
